The Toffy Kings and later The Naylor Bros Confectionery were run by Mr John C Naylor in the 1930s.  A native of Warrington Mr Naylor was a wholesale confectioner before retirement, and was connected with the trade for 60 years.  He was well-known in the theatrical business, and managed his own cinema (Futurist / The Regent) in the days of silent films, and was one of the first to introduce talkies to Warrington.  He was a keen horseman.  He was also a Freemason of the Liverpool Dramatic Lodge, 1609.
