Adverts on Culcheth.net

Postby pharmer » Thu Feb 27, 2014 10:19 am

This site seems to be becoming a vehicle for free advertising. I am looking forward to seeing Sainsburys offers of the week on here.

Culcheth.net is a non profit community forum. Anyone who wants to help support or advertise on this forum can do so by donating any amount to help cover the cost of server, the domain and etc.

I sometime kindly prompt people who advertise to make a donation but have no way of knowing if they have.

On the forum index it states that anyone can advertise on the forum so I feel that local businesses should be encouraged to do so and readers of the forum who do not want to view the advert can do so by not clicking on the post. As for the comment about Sainsburys, they can afford to spend a large budget on advertising but our local shops do not have the money to do so. I hope the residents of Culcheth continue to support their local shops.

I refer you to this which is on the home page, as noted in the second post.:-

"Culcheth.net is a non profit community forum. Anyone who wants to help support or advertise on this forum can do so by donating any amount to help cover the cost of server, the domain and etc."
Support bacteria. They're the only culture some people have.

I stand corrected. The comment about Sainsburys was what we folk with a sense of humour call "a joke".
