As a former resident of Culcheth I am trying to find some old photographs of J & T Peters Corn Mill in Glazebury. It has now been demolished but used to be situated on Warrington Road almost opposite the Raven Inn, the location of the present day Millbrook Close. It was founded sometime around 1860 and ceased trading in 1974. The mill house was known as Brook House. If anyone has any old photographs relating to the corn mill or J & T Peters I would be very grateful if they could share them with me.

Hello.
I am a new member of Culcheth.net. and was looking on the internet for J & T Peters in Glazebury.
Only yesterday was I sent a photograph of a thrashing machine which was owned by J & T Peters,
My grandfather owned it before them. I don't know how to send a photograph via the site but you
can contact me - janhatton@blueyonder.co.uk and I will willingly forward it on to you.
I live in Lowton with my husband, his family lived in Glazebury many years ago.
Regards, Janice

Sorry this is 3 years late but I've only just discovered your request. This low quality picture is taken from J & T Peters 1951 calender. My dad worked for Peters and then Sharpes at Southworth Hall from about 1958 to the mid 80's and I lived in Jaques Cottage at Southworth Hall for a short time. I'm going to put all 12 pictures on the Warrington Memories facebook page if you'd like to see more
